Tutorial #18 : Dramatic Royal Purple Cat Eye Makeup Look

Well hello beautiful people on Earth.

In this post I'm gonna share how to get this purple-y blue cat eye look. Originally I wanted to do black as the cat eye flick but my black pencil liner was missing. Dengki siut. So I opted for blue and I love how it turns out.

Step #1:
As always, begin by priming your eyelids to prevent the e/s from creasing. I use Mac Paint Pot in the shade Soft Ochre.

Step #2:
Take any light plum purple and dust it on the crease. You wanna use a slight amount first and gradually put more. Here I use a matte plum shade by Elianto. I had this for ages and it doesn't have a name. Poor baby. Haha.

Step #3:
Take any eyeliner, preferably with fine and thin tip and use that to draw a flick like you are doing your wing eyeliner. If I'm not mistaken I used Maybelline Hyper Glossy liquid liner.

Step #4:
Next, take any creamy blue or black liner and start doing..how do I explain this..do kinda shark fin shape? And then you just wanna blend it in toward the center of the lid. I used Zoeva Graphic Liner in the shade Blue Lotus for this.

Step #5:
Ok, whew. Apa lagi kena buat ni. Oh, mix Chaos & Urban e/s from Urban Decay Electric palette and pat that colors on the area where we make the shark fin shape just now. Maybe I should just call this a shark fin eye look huh?

And to help the color looks blended and put together, use Bitten from Makeup Geek and swipe it on the crease.

Step #6:
Then I used Makeup Forever Artist Shadow in D-926 and pack it on the eyelid. I loveeee this e/s. It's a purple e/s with blue sparkle in it.

Step #7:
After all that mess, use makeup remover to clean up your cat eye flick. For this look I want to make the purple and blue pop so I didn't do wing eyeliner and just put on falsies. I'm swag like that.

Step #8:
Final steps, use Makeup Geek e/s in Shimma Shimma and highlight the tear duct and brow bone.

Then, line your waterline with purple liner, like the one I used; Sephora Crayon Liner in Purple Stilettos. Next, sat sat sat tak habis lagi....use the mix of Urban & Chaos e/s and smoke out the lower lash line.

Siap!

Happy New Year!

Tutorial #6 : My Eyebrow Routine (without trimming)

Olaaaaa~

Today I'm gonna show you how to shape your eyebrows without trimming it. My friend, Gem (bukan nama sebenar) has been asking me on how to do long arched eyebrows. I don't know why she has to ask since she has annoyingly beautiful natural eyebrows. Haha. Well if someone asked me something for the third times, I ought to do it man. A tutorial I mean. Not applicable to harta benda sepencarian.

To begin with, meet my naturally sparse eyebrows of mine. Bersepah. Tebal tetapi jarang jarang. Macam eyebrows jantan dah rupa. I personally don't trim my brows but I do cover up the short untrimmed hairs with concealer to make it looks neat.

Here are the tools that I use to do my brows:

#1 : An eyebrow brush or a spoolie
#2 : An eyebrow pencil - Elianto Eyebrow pencil in Brown
#3 : Eyebrow powder - NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown
#4 : An angled brush : Sigma E65 (you can use the brush and spoolie that come with the NYX Eyebrow kit)
#5 : A concealer - Maybelline Mineral concealer in Light

First things first, give your brows a nice brush using eyebrow brush or a spoolie so that the hair is not looking crazy and unruly and bertebaran like this pakcik.

Even a surgeon can't save his brows. Teehee!

Then comes the fun part where you need to draw kind of a frame to your brows using eyebrow pencil. I start by lining the lower line of the brows, starting from the very front of the brows going upward to the natural arch of my brows.

After that, start lining it down by making sort of a turn downwards. Oh my god I'm suck at explaining
*banging my head to the wall*
You know what I mean right?

You can stop the line a little past your eyes. Don't get excited and draw the line til you ears pulak. But I guess you can if you are wearing hijab. Lukis line sampai belakang telinga pun xpe.

Next, do the same on your upper eyebrows. I usually follow my natural eyebrows since mine are rather wide. If you have thin eyebrows and want to make it looks fuller, by all means you may draw it higher than you natural brows.

Stop at the highest point of the brows and start connecting it to the lower brow tails.

Like so. After that, you can start filling in your brows using the eyebrow pencil by making small strokes. Like you are coloring picture in color book. I prefer filling in the brows using eyebrow powder to get a natural finish. Take the powder using a small brush and heavily fill in the outer part of the brows.

Then to create a natural looking brow, use a light hand to fill in the inner part of the brow.

The reason why you need to light handed-ly fill in the inner brows is because you wouldn't want your brows to look too intense and fierce.

Would you?

Lastly, apply some concealer under the brows to sculpt your eyebrows, making it more arched and defined. Also to hide the short untrimmed brow hairs.

See the massive difference?
Now you may head outside with only one eyebrow done and be a new trendsetter. Be a new Lady Gaga.
Lady Gigi?

Just kidding. Please don't do that. Don't forget to do your other eyebrow.

That's better. Oh, and don't be alarmed if your eyebrows are not looking the same. Happens to me all the time. After all, eyebrows are sisters, not twins. It's okay if they look a tiny bit asymmetrical. The ladies understand and the guys won't have too much time to notice.

Hope this is helpful. Good luck!

Tutorial #5 : Sunrise 'Matahari Merembang' Makeup Look

Well hello there.

In today's look, I incorporate yellow & orange colors with a pop of blue which are inspired by sunrise view.
Or in other word, "matahari merembang atas kepala anak dara oi tak bangun tido lagi ke". Suits me so well, haha.

I used my Sleek Sunset Palette for this look which I did a review here if you want to cek cek cekidautttt. I bought three Sleek palettes at that time so you have to understand why I haven't got enough of it yet.

So down below are the stars of the show. The eyeshadows on the Sleek Sunrise palette have no names so I just kinda throw numbers on them so that you can see which color I am picking on this tutorial. Also, I did use a little help from another orange color from Elianto as a blending color. Also, it has no name. Poor little guy. I'm gonna call him "Where Is The Love?". Hashtag justbecause.

Step #1
Prime your eyes. What do you think I was gonna say? Can't skip this step boo. Then take the orange eyeshadow Where Is The Love and put in on the inner and outer corner of your eyelid. Then swipe the eyeshadow and connect it on the crease.

Leave the center lid open with no eyeshadow. But if you have small hooded eye like me, it's inevitable to get some fallout on the center so just let it be, don't freak out. Haha.
After that, you need to blend the edges of the eyeshadow to eliminate harsh lines.

Like so. See what I mean by blending?

Step #2
Take the bright orange #4 from the Sunset palette and put it on the inner and outer corner of the eyelid, and again connect it on the crease. Blend the color into the transition color that we put earlier.

Step #3
Now take the gold color #5 from the same palette and dab it on the center on the lid.

Easy right? C'mon girl you can do it.

Step #4
If you have a light blue eyeliner, go ahead and pop it on your waterline. But I don't own one (shame on me, need to get one pronto), so I'm just gonna use NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as a base for a blue eyeshadow color that I'm gonna put on the bottom lash line.

Step #5
Next....yup, you guessed it right, we gonna use blue on the waterline. Use blue eyeshadow #6 and put it on the waterline and blend on the bottom lash line.

Step #6
I was going to put a thin eyeliner because I don't want it to block the sunrise view on my eyelid. But my hand slipped so I just had to make peace with the medium size eyeliner.

There you have it. A sunshiny sunshine eyes. I really love this fun bright look. It made my day. No, wait. It shines my day is more like it. Haha.

Tutorial #2 : Smokey Bronze Sate Ayam Makeup Look

Dari kerana mata....

Hello there!
I guess I was freaking starving when I did my makeup. I looked in the mirror and I saw sate ayam bergolek-golek in my eyes. Yum yum.

So let's learn how to get sate ayam eyes without using sate ayam.

HAHAHA. I'm know I'm ridiculous but bear with me please.
*batting eyelashes laju-laju sampai tertanggal bulu mata palsu*

The Ingredients:

|Eyes|
*In the order of how I apply them*

1. Creme Brulee e/s by Makeup Geek
2. Cocoa Bear e/s by Makeup Geek

3. Bad to the Bronze Color Tattoo by Maybelline
4. Bronze color (has no name) e/s by Elianto

5. Dark brown (has no name) e/s by Elianto
6. Shimma Shimma e/s by Makeup Geek

Okay girls, let's begin.
*senteng lengan baju*

Step 1:
Apply Creme Brulee e/s on the crease. Blend it up secukup rasa. At first I applied only a small amount, but later on I went back and blend some more. Since it is a smoky look, you can put generous amount of the blending e/s to make the eyes look really blown. Make sure to really buff it in.

Step 2:
Take Cocoa Bear e/s and darken the crease. Again, blend blend blend! You can put a little bit at first and kalau rasa tak cukup, haa tempek lagi jemah.

Step 3:
Put on Bad to the Bronze cream e/s on the eyelid & layer on bronze powder e/s on top of it. This is to intensify the eyelid and prevent the cream e/s from creasing.

Step 4:
Apply dark brown e/s on the outer V and slightly blend it in the crease, taking it all the way to the front.
You can always add more of the e/s to your preference. You can see in the pictorial below that the first 3 steps look soft but at the end the color look dark and intense. That's because I touch up more of the e/s. This makeup look is really flexible. You can put more or tone it down, which ever you like baby. Ain't nobody gonna stop yauwl.

Step 5:
Take Cocoa Bear e/s and put on the first half of your lower lash line. Then, put the dark brown e/s and smoke out the other half of the lower lash line. Line your water line with black eyeliner and blend it in the e/s that your have on the lower lash fine.

Put Shimma Shimma e/s on the tear duct & brow bone to highlight your eyes. Add on some wing liner and mascara and flip your head like Justin Bieber, cause you're done bebeh!
